Reset collection with Wrappr

Client: Wrappr

Wrappr creates reusable and no-waste furoshiki gift wraps/multi-purpose scarves. Each collection is designed by real artists all over the world who get a royalty of every sale! The Reset collection was created for Wrappr’s holiday launch and was featured on homepage and across marketing/social channels.

The Reset collection is inspired by the in-between time in the stillness of Winter. It’s a time to slow down, to rest deeply, and to turn inward to reflect and listen to our inner wisdom. It’s a time to acknowledge the endings of one cycle as we prepare to celebrate and welcome the new beginnings to come in Spring.

Challenge: Produce 1 design in 4 color palettes for the Holiday season. The artwork should be fitting for celebrations of the given season and still be appropriate and useful at other times of the year. There should be no text, religious or cultural symbols in the design. Someone in another country who speaks another language and celebrates different holidays should be able to receive a Wrappr with a gift and find it useful to reuse or regift. Wrappr aims to show that beauty and artwork is universal and want the artwork to be accessible and enjoyed by everyone no matter where they are.

Solution: Since I could not show any typical form of a holiday design, I focused on Winter and the themes of rest, reflection and transformation. I wanted to still emphasize that celebratory feeling through personal growth and our hopes for the year ahead.
